QIAO LIU
PIANIST
Chinese-born pianist, Qiao Liu, began her piano studies at the age of five, her talent for music showed at an early age. Making her solo debut at age eleven, Ms. Liu studied at the Shenyang Conservatory of Music in China. She then later pursued further studies in the United States at the Mannes School of Music of The New School and the Manhattan School of Music as a student of Jerome Rose, Victor Rosenbaum and Alexandre Moutouzkine. She is currently continuing her studies under the tutelage of Matti Raekallio.
Over the seasons, Ms. Liu has performed concerts for multiple times at the most prestigious venues for performing arts including the Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, The DiMenna Center for Classical Music, Kaufman Music Center, Marc Scorca Hall at National Opera Center, The Merkin Hall of Kaufman Art Center, The Steinway Hall in New York, The Pollock Theater, The I.J Paderewski Pomeranian Philharmonic Hall, The Meininger Court Theater, Ancienne Eglise de Maisons-Laffitte Concert Hall, The Montecatini Terme and Palazzo del Governo, The Great Hall of Moscow P. I. Tchaikovsky Conservatory. She made her New York debut at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in 2017-2018 session.
